Surabaya (18-11-2020), Presiden Asosiasi Pekerja Profesional Informasi Sekolah Indonesia ( APISI ) Hanna Chaterina George S.S,M.I.Kom menjadi narasumber Webinar dan Workshop Perpustkaan Sekolah yang diselenggarakan oleh Perpustakaan Universitas Surabaya. Acara dibuka dengan doa pembukaan yang dipimpin oleh Civitas Akademik Universitas Surabaya diikuti dengan sambutan dari Direktur Perpustakaan Amirul Ulum dan Wakil Rektor I Dr. Maria Goretti Purwanto. Acara diikuti oleh para Pustakawan Sekolah, dan Pustakawan Perguruan Tinggi dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia.
“ Unit perpustakaan ini adalah Unit kebanggaan Universitas Surabaya karena meski pademi program – program tetap bergulir hal ini merupakan kreatifitas dari Pustawakannya dan patut ditiru oleh perpustakaan lainnya”. tutur Wakil Rektor I Ubaya.
Acara webinar ini merupakan rangakaian kegiatan yang dilakukan bersamaan dengan memperingati 25tahun resmi berdirinya bangunan perpustakaan Universitas Surabaya. Demikian disampaikan oleh Amirul Ulum dalam sambutannya. Tujuan diadakan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pembekalan kreatifitas para Pustakawan Sekolah agar tetap menjalankan program meski pandemi masih berlangsung.
Sesi sharing dengan Presiden APISI disambut antusias dari peserta, dilihat dari pertanyaan – pertanyaan yang diajukan. Hal ini dikarenakan pengalaman luar biasa dalam mengelola perpustakaan yang sudah dialami oleh perempuan yang akrab disapa Hanna Latuputty ini. Beliau memaparkan tentang literasi informasi serta tips-tips mengelola Perpustakaan Sekolah dengan platform digital.
Boardgame yang disampaikan oleh Adhicipta Raharja Wirawan juga tidak kalah menariknya. Boardgame dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif bentuk pembelajaran yang dapat dikembangkan oleh Pustakawan Sekolah dan guru mata pelajaran.
